This historical viking wooden comb is carved from alder wood and is finished in linseed oil. Both sides of the comb are almost identical (you know we are craftsmen not a copy maschine). It's completely functional comb and can be used purposefully to comb one's hair. The teeth are tight, but even for normal hair suitable. This comb is very durable and may be used for many years. With the hole in the middle, the comb is easy to fix on a leather string, so you can carry it on a belt.

Length of teeths: 4/5" (2 cm)
Length: 2" (5 cm)
Width: 2 2/5" (6 cm)

This comb is described as being used for "normal" hair, but the teeth are much too short for that. I do accept responsibility for not looking at the numerical dimensions and comparing to that of a regular comb. This would do well as a beard comb, or for re-enactment. But I don't think it is practical for long hair. The other issue I had was when it arrived it was covered in glitter. I've since edited my review after being in contact with the shop. The package was opened at customs and that is most likely where it came from, so I don't fault them on that.

Beautiful! Hasn't broke so far, and I have thick hair. Smaller than expected, but it doesn't really make a difference. Stunning wood work. Highly recommended!
