5 cm Whorl
30 cm Shaft
Weighs 25 g

These hand turned and hand finished top and bottom drop spindles are perfect for any spinner. The long shaft allows room for more yarn while spinning so there is less stopping to unwind. It has been stained to bring out the natural wood grain but is not slick so if you use your leg or fingers to spin there is an easy grip.

Drop spindle - catch at the short end
Top spindle - catch at the long end

The spindle is great, I am very happy with it. Well packaged, arrived quickly and works very well

This is my 3rd spindle from Taberna. Great quality, I love it!

Wunderbare Spindel. Toll verarbeitet. Bin sehr zufrieden! Jederzeit gerne wieder. Vielen lieben Dank.

a light and very carefully made spindle, perfect for learning how to spin. My favorite🥰

I ordered the spindle to ply two yarns together to avoid striping when knitting with them. It works like a charm and I enjoyed the process so much, that I am thinking about giving actual spinning a try. The wood feels very nice and smooth so the spindle is very inviting to touch and work with.
