A full set of 25 Elder Futhark norse runes hand made and hand carved! Runes are a little over 1 inch diameter 1/8 inch thick birch wood discs. Since the runes were cut from the same branch, the size of individual runes may vary slightly. These runes have been finished with natural wax and oil. Please note this set include a "blank" rune. Box is carved in viking plait and have Solar protection symbol on top of it. This beautiful box was hand-carved from linden wood. Decoration pattern is inspired by the viking founding pattern from all Scandinavia. This style was in strong influence of so called West-Viking style. Early 11th century. Then it was painted to achieve this warm, chocolate brown colour. After polishing to make the design pop, we sealed the wood with natural oils. And here it is!
